We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team in Sydney. The ECM team works closely with the Advisory and coverage teams to originate, structure, execute, and syndicate equity financings such as initial public offerings, follow-on capital raisings, block trades, convertibles, and other equity-linked financings.

The primary objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to clients by facilitating equity capital formation. This involves conducting comprehensive company and industry research, trading analysis, and developing presentation materials to address clients' strategy and equity capital market needs.

This position requires strong corporate finance, analytical, business communications skills (written and verbal), with exceptional multi-tasking and time management ability. Exceptional teamwork skills are essential to interact and build relationships with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders in other lines of business.

Key responsibilities include helping originate, structure, and execute equity capital market transactions, conducting research and trading analysis, preparing presentation materials, and liaising with internal and external parties to manage and execute projects simultaneously.

This role plays a critical part in delivering equity and equity-linked solutions leveraging the bank's full capabilities. Successful candidates will have a keen interest in markets and investing, knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape, and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a leading university, with 1–4 years' relevant work experience within ECM, corporate advisory, markets, or a related area. Self-directed, highly motivated, resilient, and able to work independently with attention to detail and integrity are essential qualities for this position.
