We are seeking an experienced Food Services Associate to join our hospitality team on a casual basis. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, possess a friendly and positive attitude, and be committed to delivering top-notch customer satisfaction.

About the Role

As a Food Services Associate, you will play a vital role in daily food preparation, delivery, serving, and collection of patient food requirements and meal trays. You will also assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils, including dish and pot washing as required.

You will be a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture. Providing high standards of customer service, operating in line with occupational health and safety policy & procedures, and delivering excellent customer service to staff, clients, and patients are essential responsibilities of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
  • Deliver, serve, and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
  • Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required
  • Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture
  • Provide high standards of customer service
  • Operate in line with occupational health and safety policy & procedures
  • Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients, and patients
Requirements
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
  • Food Handler Certificate or Certificate III in Hospitality
  • Experience in Hospitality (desirable)
  • Strong communication and customer skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
