About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to join our team at City of Moreton Bay. As a key member of our Economic Development team, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic development and land disposal of our priority projects.

As a Development Manager, you will be responsible for preparing detailed reports, analysing data, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You will also engage with stakeholders, procure and manage consultants and contractors, and build key working relationships internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed reports on project progress, financial performance, and risk management.
  • Analyse data on financial modelling, evaluation of investment opportunities, and infrastructure issues.
  • Ensure compliance with planning approvals, relevant regulations, and best practice.
  • Engage with stakeholders, procure and manage consultants and contractors, and build key working relationships.
About You

We are looking for an exceptional communicator with extensive experience in property development, land acquisition and disposal, and delivering on project objectives. You will be confident in preparing quality reports, providing data analysis and advice, and driving outcomes and building relationships.

Ideally, you will have experience in large master planned communities, managing design consultations, authority approvals, and building and managing feasibility models.
