Job Title: Cyber Security Operations Specialist

This role is pivotal in overseeing the detection, analysis, and mitigation of security threats, with a focus on proactive incident response, threat management, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor networks and endpoints for potential security risks using SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems to ensure the health and integrity of our security posture.
  • Incident Response: Effectively triage, investigate, and manage security incidents from inception to resolution, including timely escalation and comprehensive reporting.
  • Threat Management: Develop custom detection signatures and implement measures to mitigate emerging threats, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Security Tool Administration: Maintain, support, and continuously review operational processes to ensure optimal performance of deployed security systems.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, produce regular reports, and contribute to the development of SOC tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Cyber Security Expertise: Possess working knowledge of industry-standard cybersecurity frameworks, SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex security issues with a proactive and self-starting approach.
  • Incident Response Experience: Proven experience in detecting, responding to, and mitigating cyber threats using adversary TTPs and IOCs.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills for effective incident reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Show willingness to rapidly upskill, work in a 24/7 rotating shift environment, and stay updated on evolving cyber threats.
