The Centre Cook plays a vital role in shaping the daily experiences of children in our care.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create delicious, healthy meals that fuel young minds and bodies.
  • Health and Safety:
  • Prepare meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies ensuring the safety of children.
  • Menu Planning and Organisation:
  • Use creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
  • Food Hygiene and Standards:
  • Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic.
  • Roster and Work Schedule:
  • Work a part-time roster of 15 hours per week with no split shifts, night shifts or weekend work.
