We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our Community Development team, you will be responsible for managing the civil design and documentation of urban, land, and subdivision projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design, coordinate, and project manage urban, land, and subdivision projects from feasibility through to construction.
- Prepare technical reports and specifications.
- Provide technical expertise to clients and support projects.
- Manage projects, including scheduling and the preparation of project budgets.
- Coordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects.
- Undertake and manage site inspections.
- Contribute to the development of Stantec's knowledge and skills in civil engineering, including planning, design, and construction.
- Maintain existing and develop new relationships with key clients.
- Assist in the securing and delivery of projects through business development and client relationship management.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and the delivery of projects, ideally within urban, land, and subdivisions.
- Experience and a sound understanding of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modeling, and construction.
- Project management skills.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
