Culturally Sensitive Home Support
Australian Unity is seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to provide in-home support to our aged Elders in Newcastle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Accompany clients to doctor appointments, shopping, and social outings
- Perform personal care duties including showering, feeding, and toileting
- Manual handling, driver awareness, and social interactions training
Requirements:
- A current Australian Drivers Licence and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
- Vaccinated for COVID-19 (2 Doses)
- Live within 15-20km radius to enjoy a convenient commute
Compensation:
- $29.06p/h to $32.56p/h + 11.5% superannuation
- Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM PLUS paid travel time between clients
