Role Overview

This position oversees the day-to-day operations of the in-house production team, including video editors, producers, and videographers. It entails building career pathways for the production department, setting objectives, and conducting performance reviews while providing hands-on coaching and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to developing a comprehensive production strategy, ensuring seamless delivery and continuous process improvement.
  • Manage top-tier clients with professionalism and confidence, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional results.
  • Review and refresh production processes, workflows, and tooling to meet industry best practices, driving efficiency and innovation.
  • Represent production in planning sessions, collaborating with senior stakeholders to address issues effectively.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Head of Production or similar role in media production.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams, fostering engagement, and driving results.
  • Technical expertise: understand video production technical aspects, engaging confidently with shooters, producers, and editors.
  • Commercial acumen: comprehend business-side knowledge, taking a holistic approach to strategy, revenue generation, and budget management.
  • Superior communication skills, guiding and influencing stakeholders through strategic guidance.
