About the Role

Total Tools is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandising Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing store displays, reviewing store layouts to optimize customer experience, and driving sales through effective store presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Display Creation and Maintenance: Design and implement in-store displays that showcase key products and promote sales.
  • Store Layout Optimization: Review and refine store layouts to ensure maximum customer ease and sales potential.
  • Pricing and Ticketing Accuracy: Ensure accurate pricing and ticketing of products to prevent errors and maintain customer trust.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with store leadership, suppliers, and other stakeholders to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Product Range Selection: Analyze sales data and customer preferences to select and recommend product ranges that meet customer needs.
  • Sales Analysis and Stock Management: Monitor sales figures and stock levels to ensure the right products are in the right places, driving sales and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Previous Retail Experience: Proven experience in retail visual merchandising or a related field.
  • Creativity and Attention to Detail: Ability to think creatively and maintain high attention to detail in display creation and store presentation.
  • Passion for Tools and Trades: Enthusiasm for tools and trades, with a strong understanding of the industry.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Technical Literacy: Proficiency in computer software and technology to support sales and customer service goals.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required.
