Job Description

The successful candidate will provide high-quality childcare services to babies and toddlers, ensuring a safe and engaging environment that promotes learning and development. This role involves planning and delivering educational programs, providing individualized care, and working in partnership with parents to meet their needs.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional standards of care and attention to children's needs;
  • Planning and delivering educational programs that cater to different age groups and abilities;
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment that meets health and safety regulations;
  • Collaborating with other educators and staff members to achieve program goals;
  • Communicating effectively with parents and families to ensure seamless transitions and partnerships.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A strong understanding of child development theories and practices;
  • Experience working with babies and toddlers in a childcare setting;
  • Current Working with Children's Check (WWC) and First Aid & CPR certification;
  • Anaphylaxis training/certificate is desirable;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A passion for delivering high-quality customer service;
  • Availability to work flexible shifts during school holidays;
  • A willingness to develop and deliver engaging activities suitable for different age groups.
