About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our client's engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code for both web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality Ruby code for backend services
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs in the codebase
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain code quality and organization

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with Ruby on Rails and libraries such as SideKiq
  • Experience with Docker-based deployment and familiarity with AWS-based technologies
  • Understanding of REST-based architecture and experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Buildkite or Jenkins
