Job Summary

The Toro Company is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team in Perth. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient and safe utilization of storage facilities, as well as the timely distribution of products consistent with inventory control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Product Distribution Planning: Assist in planning and directing product distribution to ensure prompt delivery to customers, taking into account inventory levels and customer requirements.
  2. Warehouse Receiving Function: Assist in planning and directing the warehouse receiving function, ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately received, stored, and processed in a timely manner.
  3. Workforce Planning: Assist in planning the assignment of work to ensure the efficient use of personnel and equipment, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.
  4. Warehouse Efficiency: Recommend improvements to warehouse practices to promote efficiency, productivity, and safety, in line with company policies and procedures.
  5. WHSE Responsibilities: Accept and adhere to all WHSE responsibilities, policies, procedures, and safe work practices related to the position, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
  6. Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and management to warehouse staff, monitoring their performance and efficiencies, and providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Proven experience in warehousing, inventory management, and logistics, preferably with a focus on warehouse management systems.
  2. Skills: Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with strong keyboard and computing skills, including Microsoft applications. A valid forklift license is also required.
  3. Knowledge: Understanding of WHSE principles and legislation, as well as experience with Warehouse Management (preferably SAP WM).
  4. Personal Qualities: Ability to respond to changing priorities, work effectively as a team member, and work independently with minimum supervision.
