Job Title: Operations Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling our curbside collection fleet, ensuring all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is able to lead by example, creating a positive and productive work culture.

  • Coordinate and schedule the curbside collection fleet to ensure all KPIs are achieved
  • Consult with line management in the development and management of operational targets
  • Ensure all pre-start, post-run, and minor day-to-day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment
  • Lead by example - be a people person, create a good solid work and team culture
  • Drive operational efficiencies within the team, continual review and improvement of site
  • Manage and prepare detailed reports this includes toolbox meetings
  • Lead performance management investigations and outcome

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Be approachable, have good people skills
  • Ideally have 2-3yrs minimum experience in a supervisory role
  • Exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems
  • Experience within the transport / waste / logistics and or recycling industries desirable
  • Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation and ability to work independently
  • Microsoft suite experience essential
