Intensive Care and Cardiac Nursing Opportunity

The program will provide participants with the opportunity to work on a rotating roster while completing a Graduate Certificate in Intensive Care or Cardiac Nursing in collaboration with Deakin University.

  • Positions are available in Intensive Care at Epworth Eastern (Box Hill) and Cardiac at Epworth Eastern (Box Hill).

These positions are part-time, reflecting the time commitment required to study and attend university classes, complete assessments, and embed this knowledge into clinical practice.

This integrated role is ideal for those seeking to consolidate their learning while progressing in a structured and sustainable career pathway.

Participants will have access to further professional development opportunities through our scholarship program, supporting continued growth and advancement.

Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Australian Citizenship / Permanent Residency; OR New Zealand Citizenship
  • A minimum of one-year acute clinical nursing experience following your graduate year within the acute clinical setting
