Catering Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Catering Assistant to join our team at George Mockler in Mona Vale. As a key member of our Catering team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and exceptional dining experiences for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve meals to residents, ensuring a high standard of quality and presentation.
- Assist with meal preparation, including food handling, cooking, and plating.
- Provide a warm and welcoming dining experience for residents, responding to their needs and preferences.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Support the Catering Manager in maintaining accurate records and inventory management.
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene.
- NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
