About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Security Analyst to join our SOC team on a full-time permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with technical teams and our lead security engineer to improve and align the services which our SOC offers to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing SOC team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance SOC capabilities, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with platform support engineers and SOC Solution Lead to drive the SOC Roadmap, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of security services.
  • Support a growth mindset within the SOC Analyst team, promoting mature ways of working and establishing improvement across the SOC services, including Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting.
  • Provide overall ownership of the SIEM and associated improvement activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve SOC processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, working with the Service Management team to identify improvements to process and governance.
  • Uplift the Knowledgebase with the SOC Analysts to improve Playbooks and Use cases, ensuring timely and effective response to security incidents.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and enhance overall security posture for the SOC and our clients, staying abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and attack techniques.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on security incidents, trends, and the overall security posture to SOC management and clients during Operational monthly meetings, communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and recommendations on security matters.
