About the Role

We are seeking a Regional Manager Housing to join our team at our Chermside office. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Housing Workers delivering tenancy and property management services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Housing Workers delivering tenancy and property management services
  • Ensure Community Housing KPI's are achieved, and funding body requirements are met
  • Identify potential improvements to current service delivery and make recommendations to GM Housing for further approvals
  • Coordinate compliance, essential service and annual asset management program for your region supported by National Property Infrastructure team
  • Responsible for oversight and management of tenancy and property management database including data integrity, trades compliance to improve service delivery

About You

The ideal candidate will have industry experience in Social housing or Community Housing and be passionate about delivering a quality client-focussed service. You will need to demonstrate that you have the capacity to engage with a wide cross section of individuals and an ability to prioritise workloads.

Key Capabilities:

  • Tertiary qualification in Property, Business Administration or Community Services are desirable
  • Prior experience in a similar role managing staff who oversee a diverse property portfolio
  • Sound knowledge of housing development within the social housing and community welfare sector
  • Strong knowledge of QLD Residential Tenancies legislation and Community Housing policies
