About the Role

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop cloud architectures and standards for the organisation
  • Work with the solutions architect to assess solution alignment to the overall Enterprise Architecture
  • Provide leadership in developing and migrating applications in the Cloud
  • Establish effective relationships with stakeholders to align cloud strategy with business needs
  • Ensure enterprise cloud architecture meets business needs
  • Provide cloud architectural consulting expertise, direction, and assistance to Client's business relationship managers, IT leadership and solution architects
  • Work closely with Data Privacy, Security and Networking to ensure compliance of cloud deployments with the policies and procedures
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of existing IT architecture/infrastructure, and technology portfolio
  • Perform analysis of large-scale, complex, cross-system, cross-platform changes or issues
  • Evaluate impact of cloud solutions in the architecture and security
  • Make presentations to management, clients, and peer groups

Requirements

  • Experience designing available Public Cloud services for enterprise consumption
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
  • Migrating legacy solutions to cloud
  • Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture
  • Knowledge of vendor software integration and interaction patterns
  • Expert knowledge of computing architectures
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture discipline and frameworks
  • Strong understanding of Cloud service offerings and capabilities
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative, multi-stakeholder, multi-location environment
  • Familiarity with service design and pricing in the context of cloud-based solutions
  • Experience conducting proof-of-concept, developing prototyping and building reference models
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, applications, and trends
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, software application, and design
  • Experience using Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, or other major cloud computing services
  • Strong cloud migration and data management skills with an emphasis on data privacy and security
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and can thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong communication skills with the willingness to collaborate with cross-functional departments and teams
