Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching gymnastics skills with the appropriate technique and in accordance with the YMCA's mission and curriculum. They will also ensure the safety of children in the class, receiving training as part of their induction.

Teaching gymnastics classes involves creating a fun and engaging learning environment for participants. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey instructions and provide feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality gymnastics programs in line with the YMCA's curriculum
  • Ensure participant safety and well-being at all times
  • Communicate effectively with participants, colleagues, and management

Requirements

This role is suitable for individuals who are passionate about gymnastics and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. No prior qualifications are required, as training is provided. Recent experience in gymnastics or a related field is preferred but not essential.
