Lead Gymnastics Instructor

The YMCA is a leading provider of gymnastics programs for children and adults. Our classes cater to various age groups and skill levels, from crawling age to 13 years, youth classes from 14 years up, and adult classes.
We are seeking an Assistant Gymnastics Coach to join our team on a casual basis at our Stafford Gymnastics venue.
About the role:
As an Assistant Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up gymnastics equipment in a timely manner and commencing classes;
- Assisting coaches with teaching gymnastics through suitable progressions and lesson plans aligned with the YMCA's Mission Statement and Gymnastics Australia requirements;
- Preparing gymnasts for testing or competition within the coaching plan timeframe;
- Supervising children during warm-up and ensuring their safety.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- Gymnastics coaching qualifications; if not, we can assist in obtaining them;
- Demonstrated knowledge and practice experience in all aspects of gymnastics;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
