Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize the upkeep of multiple defense bases across the Northern Territory and South Australia.
  • Lead maintenance planning activities to ensure efficient performance and schedules.
  • Coordinate Work Orders to maintain organized and timely maintenance workflows.
  • Provide support for DLP activities related to new installation projects.
  • Evaluate compliance with relevant standards and regulations in planning and scheduling activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate maintenance schedules with operational plans.
  • Monitor maintenance plan effectiveness, adjusting as necessary.
  • Compile reports on maintenance activities, schedules, and performance metrics.
  • Nurture key stakeholder relationships with contractors, suppliers, and personnel.
  • Identify continuous improvement areas, collaborating with teams to implement best practices.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Project Management (preferred).
  • Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and software.
  • Proven track record of managing complex site maintenance schedules.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in industrial maintenance.
  • Able to develop preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques.
  • Skilled in emergency maintenance situations and minimizing downtime.
  • Proficient in data analytics for performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
