Job DescriptionThe Director of Learning Diversity plays a key role in the implementation of our Teaching and Learning and Student Wellbeing Strategic Plan. This role is responsible for leading in the area of Learning Diversity, including strategic planning in Literacy, Numeracy, EAL, refugee and indigenous support, and highly able students. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all teaching and learning processes and procedures provide access and growth in learning for all students.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of the College's Learning Diversity strategy
- Provide expert advice and support to teachers and staff on inclusive teaching practices
- Collaborate with the College Leadership Team to develop and implement initiatives that promote student wellbeing and engagement
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the College's Learning Diversity programs and make recommendations for improvement
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in education and a proven track record of leading and implementing inclusive learning programs. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with teachers, staff, and students.
