Animal Care Trainer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Animal Care Trainer to deliver high-quality education and training to students pursuing a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement up-to-date and innovative curriculum for the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing course.
  • Teaching and Assessment: Deliver engaging online and classroom instruction, utilizing multimedia resources and real-life cases to enhance student understanding. Assess student performance, provide feedback, and participate in course evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Student Support: Provide personalized academic and career guidance to students, while supervising internships to ensure practical application of theoretical knowledge.
  • Industry Engagement: Stay current with industry trends and developments, participating in conferences and training sessions to share best practices with peers.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or higher qualification is required.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) is mandatory.
  • Experience in veterinary nursing in Australia is essential.
  • Familiarity with Student Management Systems and Learning Management Systems is advantageous.
