Job Title: Identity Engineer – Azure/AD

We are seeking an experienced Identity Engineer to join our team at Jenny Barbour IT & Project Recruitment. As an Identity Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting Identity Directories both on-premise and through public cloud providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance critical directory platforms: Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and services they support, including service management.
  • Provide expert technical consulting to mature the function in BAU and deliver robust work products for projects that align to design standards, patterns, and identity strategy.
  • Deliver and support critical business services in a medium to large enterprise.
  • Extensive delivery experience across Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and supporting technologies.
  • Manage and govern Enterprise Directory environments in line with security best practice.
  • Certified Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator.
  • Experience in development and maintenance of scripting languages.
  • Experience with version control and code management technologies (e.g., GitLab).
  • Experience with workload management and delivery tooling (e.g., Jira).
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Identity and Access Management.
  • Strong technical skills in Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and supporting technologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
