We are currently seeking highly skilled CHPP plant technicians to join our team. A challenging opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced professional with strong mechanical or electrical trade background.

The role is based in the picturesque Upper Hunter Valley, NSW, where we have a strong sense of community and work-life balance.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art processing facility. This involves conducting daily maintenance tasks, identifying and rectifying issues promptly, and collaborating with our production superintendent and other team members to achieve excellent performance targets.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong mechanical or electrical trade qualifications, experience in mining or industrial environments, and a commitment to working rotating shifts. You should also be proficient in operating mobile equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Daily operation of the CHPP plant in accordance with procedures
  • Maintenance and repair of plant equipment
  • Conducting regular inspections to detect defects and ensure optimal performance
  • Safely operating mobile equipment around fixed and mobile plant, run-of-mine, and product stockpiles
Requirements:
  • Australian recognised Electrical or Mechanical Qualification
  • Previous work experience in mining, civil, or an industrial environment
  • Ability to live in the Upper Hunter Valley or nearby region, or relocate
  • Strong safety awareness and team player attitude
  • Supervisortraining: G1, G89, G9 (formerly S123) - desired but not essential
