Environmental Specialist Opportunity

This is a unique chance to gain practical experience in contaminated land management and learn directly from technical experts.

About the Role
  • Develop field skills and knowledge in sampling methodologies for soil, groundwater, surface water, and hazardous materials.
  • Support accurate reporting activities, including maintaining field notes, site descriptions, logs, analytical summary tables, and basic reporting tasks.
  • Develop computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office and industry specific software.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and communicate project updates as required.
  • Develop relationships with clients and ensure high quality customer service throughout projects.
Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering is essential, with an understanding of earth sciences highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with a range of stakeholders to achieve desirable outcomes.
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage and prioritise deadlines.
  • Proactive and motivated approach to learning.
  • Full drivers licence, and willingness to obtain a police and medical clearance.
