Business Leader Position

The Business Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial management of all school activities, securing funding to support strategic objectives.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial records are maintained to inform school performance.
  • Manage daily financial and processing functions, including cash flow management and tax compliance matters.
  • Process fortnightly payroll and ensure correct recording and discharge of payroll liabilities and obligations.
  • Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders on school performance and comment on variances to budgets.
  • Develop business operating budgets, grant funding estimates, and capital expenditure submissions.
  • Support Principal and team in developing business opportunities and strategies to achieve growth targets, goals, and objectives.
  • Coordinate and assist Principal in development of school budget and forecasting processes, presenting it to stakeholders.
  • Ensure correct receipt and use of grant funding for school activities.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Principal of the school.
