We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Line Cook.

">

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food items that meet high quality standards. You will work closely with our Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisors to ensure that opening and closing procedures are followed, and food preparation is completed efficiently.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • ">
  • Preparing food items according to portion size and quality standards">
  • Following kitchen rules, policies and procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment">
  • Maintaining proper food temperatures and adhering to safety standards">
  • Participating in team activities to ensure excellent service and delivery of product">
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils">

The ideal candidate will have:

Essential Qualifications:

">
  • ">
  • Be at least 18 years of age">
  • Have professional training through a culinary education or working experience in a fast-paced high-volume fine dining restaurant/catering facility">
  • Have strong line experience for Ala Carte Service">
  • Be able to interact with colleagues to assure compliance with company service standards">
  • Have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette">
  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting">
  • Must be able to read, speak and write in English">
  • Ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds">
  • Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays">
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time">
  • High school diploma or equivalent">
  • Culinary training preferred">
  • Must have three years working in a fast-paced high-end club, or restaurant">
