Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious professional with excellent accounting skills and a real passion for pinpoint accuracy and the ability to identify meaningful details.

About the Role

Our client is a public practice with offices spread across the East Coast of Australia (NSW and QLD). They are looking for someone who can work as part of a tight-knit team, partner with internal and external stakeholders, and the self-motivation to work independently.

This role involves preparing financial statements and tax returns for trusts, companies and individuals, and providing business advice such as tax planning.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with leadership and being exposed to key decisions, collaborate across the entire company while maintaining autonomous work, and manage their own workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements and tax returns for trusts, companies and individuals.
  • Provide business advice such as tax planning.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
  • Manage own workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
Requirements
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards.
  • Degree qualified in Commerce, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in accounting, bookkeeping or audit or business advisory services.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
