Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team working on a large infrastructure project in remote NSW. The scope of works includes the construction of complex FRP and associated civil works, requiring a 2/1 FIFO roster from Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.

About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer to take ownership of planning, budgeting, and executing projects from conception to completion.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Interpret specifications, create and maintain drawings, and develop plans for construction methods and procedures.
  2. Comprehensively understand project scope, specifications, and work plans, providing expert advice on engineering solutions to meet client needs.
  3. Develop and manage work programs for allocated work packages, including large concrete pours.
  4. Evaluate and ensure logistical management of equipment and materials, adhering to compliance requirements.
  5. Identify variations in work packages and submit lists for review.
  6. Plan and control project costs.
  7. Prepare and review internal ITPs, forms, and checklists for client approval.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (mandatory).
  • No less than five years of postgraduate experience working on large FRP infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with underground tunneling projects is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in planning software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
