Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled leader to manage our Grain Bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence, leading a high-performing team, and driving revenue growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain seamless service delivery and optimal guest experience through operational excellence.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of connection and growth.
  • Cultivate a fun, performance-driven, and evolving team environment that aligns with Food & Beverage Division goals.
  • Drive performance by setting metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and leading industry trends.
  • Recruit, select, and retain top talent to ensure a strong team presence.
  • Develop relationships with key partners across the hotel, industry, and suppliers to drive success.
  • Optimize labour and operating expenses through effective scheduling, purchasing decisions, stock control, and quarterly stock takes.
  • Contribute to innovative menu curation and bar promotions.
  • Achieve revenue and profit targets, participate in marketing plan development, and drive up-selling programs.
  • Maintain well-maintained work areas and compliance with PWT requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience in a high-end/upmarket bar environment.
  • Strong product knowledge and creative flair.
  • Proven leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and ability to connect with all stakeholders.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • Current NSW RSA certificate.
  • Ability to work evenings, including weekends.

Remuneration for this role is approximately $87,000 gross per annum plus incentive program, super, and benefits.
