Lab Data Systems Specialist

This is a challenging contract opportunity to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation and further develop your skills and experience in laboratory data systems.

As a Lab Data Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for testing and analysis of all laboratory computer-based equipment.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Work with computerised lab equipment to assess data analysis and data storage.
  • Calibrate, maintain and operate laboratory instruments in accordance with approved guidelines.
  • Review test results in accordance with regulatory guidelines & standards.
  • Write and review SOPs and complete technical documentation in relation to qualification and lifecycle management.
  • Perform risk assessments & review test results in accordance with regulatory guidelines & standards.
  • Effectively liaise with internal & external stakeholders.

Requirements include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Science, IT or Computer Systems.
  • Experience in laboratory environment within a pharmaceutical/medical device or FMCG related industry.
  • Expertise with laboratory instruments and equipment and troubleshooting skills.
  • Sound experience in compliance with cGMP, GLP, GxP and Laboratory quality systems & requirements.
  • Good knowledge of computer systems.
  • Experience with computerised based laboratory software such as Empower, Agilent, etc.
