Room Leader Opportunity at The Entrance

We are seeking experienced Room Leaders to join our team at The Entrance. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide guidance and support to our educators, ensuring we deliver high-quality, inclusive learning programs.

  • Lead and mentor educators to achieve excellence and maintain strong professional relationships, driving growth and development within the team.
  • Develop the team to deliver a high-quality cycle of planning, curriculum, and outcomes for each child in your room, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • E nsure that all documentation, of children's learning, is visible and accessible to families and meets regulatory requirements, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Create a friendly, secure, and stimulating interactive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development in children.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all team members, upholding a culture of respect and open communication.
  • Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times, prioritizing the well-being of children and staff.

You will work closely with the Centre Director to strive for an exceeding centre rating. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An ACECQA approved Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, demonstrating a strong foundation in early childhood principles and practices.
  • A Current Working with Children Check, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • An outstanding level of verbal and written communication, facilitating effective collaboration and information sharing.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS), informing curriculum design and implementation.
  • Strong computer skills, utilizing digital tools to enhance teaching and learning practices.
  • A current approved First Aid Certificate, ensuring the ability to respond to emergencies.
  • A current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, promoting a safe and healthy environment.
