About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Human Resource Advisor to join our team at Curragh North project in Blackwater. This role will partner with our stakeholders and managers, providing support to the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work autonomously on site, as the day-to-day point of contact for all HR-related queries and matters.
- Lead complex investigations and support with Enterprise Agreement Negotiations.
- Provide advice, training, coaching, and support to site operational teams in relation to the entire employee lifecycle, including remuneration, employee engagement, policies, procedures, learning and development, employee relations, and performance management.
- Provide expertise regarding conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, disputes, and investigations.
- Support the wider Queensland HR team in the delivery of all aspects of HR and IR activities for the Project.
- Support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective people strategies and initiatives.
- Support and collaborate with community, diversity, and inclusion initiatives for the Project.
- Work closely with and provide support to the Human Resources Manager.
- Promote a values-based approach to HR at the Project.
About You
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task and manage high-volume workloads.
- Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Human resources experience in a mining or heavy industry environment, desirable.
- Strong computer skills, including an advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office package.
