Job Title: Commercial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical individual to join our team as a Commercial Analyst – Marketing. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to leverage their expertise in data analysis, commercial performance, and marketing strategy to drive business growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing marketing campaigns across various channels, including online, digital, in-store, and trade channels. They will track key metrics such as reach, frequency, impressions, click-through rates, engagement, and sales impact to provide actionable insights for marketing and merchandising teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing large datasets to produce actionable insights for marketing and merchandising teams.
  • Combining multiple datasets to assess campaign ROI, discount effectiveness, and spend efficiency.
  • Synthesizing customer segmentation, loyalty analysis, and targeting strategies.
  • Evaluating promotional uplift and recommending opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a commercial or business analyst role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Finance or accounting background with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to manage large datasets and translate them into clear recommendations.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Phocas, or Cognos is desirable.
  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
