Resident Engagement Officer

We are seeking an individual to empower and engage with our residents at Darlington home in Banora Point. This role will involve participating in the development, implementation and assessment of tailored plans that cater to the individual needs and wants of our residents.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities, as well as supporting staff and volunteers in providing leisure and lifestyle programs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and implementing plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Supporting residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities
  • Supporting staff and volunteers in provision of leisure and lifestyle programs

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need:

  • Cert IV in Leisure and Health (Essential)
  • Previous Experience in Aged Care
  • Experience Working With Memory Support (Dementia) Highly Desirable
  • Availability and Reliability to Commit to Required Shifts
  • Complete a Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Check (Valid Within the Last 5 Years)
  • Working Rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc.)
  • Energetic and Effective Communicator
  • Evidence of Covid-19 Vaccination
  • Flu Vaccinations (or Willingness to Obtain)
