As a support professional, you will play a vital role in delivering essential care and support to individuals with complex disabilities. You will work collaboratively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to provide holistic support.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing assistance with daily activities such as accessing the community, self-care, and short-term accommodation.
- Ensuring effective communication and interaction with clients and management staff.
- Exhibiting patience and understanding of each client's unique needs and preferences.
- Working closely with behaviour support plans to promote positive behaviour.
- Collaborating effectively with families and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support.
- Proven experience working with clients who have complex disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all clients and management staff.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to providing care and support.
- Availability for flexible shifts on various days.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for transporting clients around Brisbane.
- NDIS credentials, including worker screening module, reliable vehicle insurance, registration, and QLD drivers license.
