The Role of a Support Worker

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering Quality Services: Deliver high-quality support services to customers with disabilities, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.
  • Personal Care and Development: Assist clients in their daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and skill development.
  • Community Integration: Promote community integration and support clients in accessing social and recreational activities.
  • Collaboration and Planning: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized support plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Empowerment and Advocacy: Encourage independence and empower clients to achieve their personal goals, while also advocating for their rights and needs.
