About the Role
The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a highly skilled EHS Lead to join our team at the Seven Hills site. As a key member of our operational risk management team, you will be responsible for driving the health and safety performance of our site, as well as supporting the implementation of other operational risk initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement site-wide EHS strategies and initiatives to ensure compliance with legislation and global best practices.
- Lead EHS audits and action plans to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective EHS management systems and controls are in place.
- Provide qualitative and quantitative EHS reporting to stakeholders.
- Support business continuity planning and emergency preparedness initiatives.
- Lead and participate in Environment and Social Governance initiatives, such as energy conservation and waste reduction.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in EHS or safety management in a manufacturing environment, with working knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies, such as Workplace Health and Safety QLD and Department of Environment & Science.
- Experience with Safety Management Systems and EHS auditing.
- Experience with Rehabilitation and Return to Work.
