Leading Forensic Clinical Services Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding position that involves leading the delivery of high-level clinical services to internal and external stakeholders, particularly in relation to residents at Rivergum.
- Detailed knowledge of evidence-based interventions for residents with complex needs at Rivergum.
- Ability to provide authoritative clinical advice to staff and case managers to contribute to best practice within a therapeutic environment.
- Supporting the development of a strong, collaborative team approach to foster an integrated therapeutic culture.
- Preparation of comprehensive reports for stakeholders across the system, including the courts.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience delivering interventions in a complex environment across mental health, offending behaviours and substance use.
A deep understanding of theoretical frameworks underpinning assessment and treatment for individuals within the justice system is essential.
Experience with forensic risk assessment tools and delivery of individual and group treatment for complex populations is required.
Familiarity with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy and Trauma-Informed Care is desirable.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate empathy, warmth and supportive therapist characteristics to facilitate the therapeutic relationship.
