HV Electrician Role

Join a team of skilled professionals working on the largest magnetite mining and processing operation in Australia.

The HV Electrician will play a key role in maintaining our MT4400 Electric Drive Haul Trucks, ensuring regular electrical services, fault finding, diagnosis, and repairs are performed to the highest standard.

  • Performing periodic statutory electrical testing and inspections
  • Handling minor electrical works
  • Electrical breakdowns
  • Testing and documentation

Additional duties include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Carrying out scheduled and preventative maintenance work
  2. Conducting troubleshooting and repair of faults or defects in electrical equipment
  3. Repairing and replacing damaged or worn-out components
  4. Ensuring all electrical work is carried out in accordance with relevant safety standards and regulations

Requirements for Success In This Role:

  • Current WA A Grade Electrical Licence
  • Minimum 2 years experience performing services, preventative maintenance, and breakdown repairs on heavy earthmoving fleet
  • Exposure to GE drive systems
  • Experience conducting statutory testing on electrical infrastructure
  • CPR / LV rescue training
  • First Aid
  • National Police Clearance
  • White Card
  • Drivers licence
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Have a 'Can Do' attitude towards your work ethic, health, and safety
