Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to play a vital role in enhancing students' occupational performance and participation.

  • This position involves collaborating with schools, families, and community agencies to design and implement inclusive programs, sensory spaces, and adjustments to meet the needs of all students.
  • The successful candidate will provide consultative and clinical support to schools using a Response to Intervention (RtI) approach to guide strategies across various domains.
  • Key responsibilities include leading professional development and coaching to build the skills and confidence of school staff and Inclusion Support Services colleagues.
  • The Occupational Therapist will conduct assessments, prepare high-quality reports, and maintain accurate records to inform evidence-based interventions and Educational Adjustment Plans.
About You
  • We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who holds a degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and is registered with AHPRA.
  • A valid Northern Territory Driver's Licence and a current Ochre Card are also required.
