Occupational Therapist Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy plans tailored to the individual needs of participants
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support services are delivered
  • Provide education and training to participants and their families on independent living skills
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
  • Proven experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a community-based setting
