About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Team Leader to join our team at IPA Personnel. As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of supported employees in a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Line Management: Set up production lines for the day, ensure supported employees are set to their routine tasks, and apply quality controls during manufacturing processes.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a large team, provide coaching and mentoring skills to assist employees with their daily tasks, and promote a strong safe working environment.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure production meets commercial outcomes and customer expectations, operate PLC controls, and work to a production control sheet.
  • Employee Development: Provide opportunities for supported employees to upskill while meeting NDIS requirements, and ensure supported employees are set to their routine tasks.
About You
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills, experience supervising a large team, and ability to empower others.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills - written and oral, and ability to work with a diverse team.
  • Technical Skills: MS Office skills and ability to operate PLC controls.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrated empathy, patience, resilience, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
