This position leads and delivers outcomes to assure the sustained success of Super Hornet and Growler platforms. The role reports directly to the Sustainment Program Manager, responsible for ensuring business rigor throughout the program.

The Integration Manager oversees the overall portfolio, managing activities such as contracting, subcontracting, finance, configuration management, efficiency improvements, system safety, trade controls, and work management across various levels within the sustainment program. Additionally, this role monitors program performance to guarantee cost, quality, safety, and schedule requirements are met or exceeded.

As part of the Super Hornet Leadership Team, this position requires liaison with customers at all levels internally and externally. This role is based at RAAF Base Amberley.

An ideal candidate should have demonstrated skills in managing large-scale complex projects to successful completion. They must also possess the ability to execute high-level management functions, including customer liaison, business awareness, and a track record of successful execution outcomes.

Demonstrated experience in various functional areas, such as finance, scheduling, production control, trade controls, intellectual property management, metrics management, quality, subcontracting, and procurement, is required. A tertiary qualification in a business-related field, along with significant experience in the management of sub-contractors and awareness of contracting mechanisms, is highly desirable.

Experience in financial, contracts, and trade control management for large projects in the aerospace industry is essential. Qualifications in project management that meet the minimum requirements of the National Competency Standard for Project Management are also necessary. An understanding and appreciation of a matrix-based organisation and the ability to operate effectively within such an environment are also required.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and people skills, be able to recognise high achievers, and grow their skills. They must also possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills to facilitate interaction between staff and key internal and external customer groups.

In addition, experience in a military or commercial aerospace environment is highly valued. Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
