Beach Resort Night Auditor

Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing all hotel operations overnight, ensuring that guests receive prompt and professional service.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all hotel operations overnight, working with the Night Manager or Assistant Night Manager in their absence.
  • Lead by example by consistently upholding and embodying brand standards in all daily operations.
  • Ensure guests receive prompt, professional service, personal recognition, and a seamless Front & Back of House experience throughout their stay.
  • Support and ensure Front Office staff provides guests with prompt service, professional attention, and personal recognition.
  • Be the first responder - know how to respond to emergency situations promptly and calmly.
  • Ensure all credit and financial transactions are handled in a secure manner. Maintain cashiers float, ensuring accurate daily report of all money received, perform the audit balances, and prepare all works for audit in an orderly fashion.
  • Oversee night audit function and preparation of daily financial reports. Work closely with our finance team to ensure the auditing and reporting process has a high level of detail overnight.
  • Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate One Step Ahead Service Behaviours: Create confidence, Encourage success, and Make it happen; and align True Hospitality service skills expectations.
  • Champion IHG Rewards Club and ensure team are 100% compliant in their training and delivery of standards.

Requirements:


  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the Company.
  • Proven communication skills across phone, email, and face-to-face style interactions.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and PMS.
  • Proactive approach, with strong drive for team results and a track record of achievement.
  • Problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Administration, Hotel Management, or equivalent.
