About the Role

CHC Helicopters is seeking a highly skilled Safety and Quality Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Safety and Quality Team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of operational risk functions, including DSRM, Safety Reporting, and Metric development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the S&Q management in the delivery of operational risk functions, including DSRM, Safety Reporting, and Metric development.
  • Support the S&Q team with administrative activities, oversight, and follow-up of ongoing tasks, including managing safety reports, actions, and storage of meeting minutes, safety information, and evidence.
  • Provide reporting statistics and data on the SMS and HESS systems performance.
  • Oversight and follow-up of SMS activities with departmental heads and staff to ensure safety actions are completed.
  • Foster and develop professional relationships and trust through effective engagement of the organisation's departments.
  • Provide support and training for the SQID system and perform the system administrator requirements in APAC.
  • Support administrative functions, including document control and safety promotion material.
  • Contribute to the SMS continuous improvement program.
  • Contribute to data, statistics, and information in support of commercial tenders and contracts.
  • Development and coordination of Quality and Safety performance metrics.
  • Develop high-level analysis and reports from safety system surveys.
  • Coordinate follow-up, analysis, and reports from company-wide risk reviews.
  • Display a high level of integrity when dealing with sensitive and confidential material.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with management, staff, and regulatory authorities.
  • Keep up to date with current trends and developments associated with the industry, including quality and safety legislation.
