As a Functional Safety Engineer, you will collaborate with our wider teams to support busy projects in Western Australia, focusing on materials handling, machine safety, and hazardous areas. Experience in manufacturing and processing plants is valued, but not essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing Functional Safety Management Plans, facilitating HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA workshops, and writing reports.
- Performing Performance Level Determination, Safety Requirements Specifications, and Safety-related system design and realisation.
- Mentoring junior Functional Safety Engineers and being involved in the full lifecycle of projects from inception to execution.
We value a degree-qualified engineer with at least 8 years of Functional Safety-related experience, preferably with projects in the Pilbara region and/or Northern Western Australia. Certified Functional Safety Engineers or Experts are also preferred.
