Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at ActivTec Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment within client facilities across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, conducting necessary repairs to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients regarding equipment status and repair timelines to ensure transparency and trust.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of parts, tools, and equipment needed for efficient repairs to minimize delays and optimize resource allocation.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in training programs and collaborate with colleagues to enhance technical skills and share best practices.
  • Compliance and Quality: Adhere to company policies, client procedures, and industry standards to ensure high-quality service delivery and maintain a strong reputation.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as a Technician or in a similar role, with a strong background in equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Technical Skills: Technical proficiency in equipment operation and maintenance, with knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Time Management and Multitasking: Effective time management and multitasking abilities, with a flexible schedule and willingness to travel as required.
  • Qualifications: Valid driver's license and full working rights in Australia, with a willingness to participate in ongoing learning and certification programs.
