Job Title: Mechanical Fitter Apprentice

Responsibilities:
  • Assist tradespeople with mechanical repairs and rebuilds.
  • Support tradespeople with equipment inspection and repair.
  • Complete inventory management tasks to maintain optimal levels.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to workshop procedures and keeping the workspace organized.
  • Effectively complete learning modules within set timeframes.
  • Report any operational issues promptly to the Engineering Leading Hand.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by providing excellent service and promoting a collaborative atmosphere.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Current manual driver's license (an advantage).
  • Able to work at heights.
  • Year 10 Certificate or equivalent.
